Expanding Access to Care: Celebrating Our New Pharmacy Partnership

We were excited to celebrate a major step forward in care for our community with the recent open house and ribbon cutting of our on-site pharmacy, in partnership with Genoa Healthcare, located at our High Street location in Springfield. This addition represents more than just convenience – it’s about improving access, coordination, and outcomes for the individuals and families we serve. Managing medications – especially alongside mental health or substance use treatment – can be challenging. By having a full-service pharmacy located directly within our facility, individuals can now access their care and medications in one place.

Genoa Healthcare specializes in working with behavioral health settings, partnering directly with care teams to ensure individuals receive the right medications and ongoing support. What truly sets this pharmacy apart is the level of personalized care. Their team takes time to get to know each individual, helping to answer questions, navigate insurance, and remove common barriers to getting medications. From coordinating refills to offering pre-sorted packaging that helps individuals stay on track, services are designed to simplify what can often feel overwhelming.

The on-site pharmacy helps reduce many of the challenges individuals face when accessing medications, including:

  • Fewer trips to multiple locations
  • Assistance with insurance and prior authorizations
  • Convenient pick-up options
  • Ongoing support from a dedicated pharmacy team

These services are especially important for individuals managing complex health needs, helping improve medication adherence and overall wellness.

This partnership strengthens our commitment to whole-person care—integrating behavioral health, substance use treatment, and physical health services. By working collaboratively with the pharmacy team, we can better support individuals in every aspect of their care journey. The ribbon cutting marked an exciting milestone, but more importantly, it represents our continued investment in making care more accessible, coordinated, and compassionate.

We’re proud to offer this resource to our community and look forward to the positive impact it will have on the lives of those we serve.
